OUR GIVING

umano partners with schools and nonprofits in areas of high need. we travel as a team on Giving Trips to hand-deliver backpacks full of art supplies to kids at Giving Partner organizations. we currently work with Giving Partners in harlem, detroit, nashville, atlanta, athens, mexico, haiti, and peru.

during the Giving Trip, we teach fun lessons designed to encourage kids to unleash their creativity! we introduce a general theme and the kid Artists share their awesome ideas with us and their classmates and bring their imagination to life on paper!

after each Giving Trip, our graphic designers sort through all of the awesome drawings at umano hq in athens, ga.
we explore hundreds of design, color, and placement possibilities to best showcase the raw confidence in every Kartwork but always preserve the integrity of the original drawing.

when the design process is complete, the Kartwork is printed on the ultimate “canvas” - our freakishly-soft tees. we print every tee by hand and treat it like an original work of art. every tee is carefully inspected, folded, and placed perfectly inside of a limited-edition box to be shipped straight to you!
